Supriyadevi’s only daughter Soma came to her parents’ house with her mother previous day i.e. on Sunday afternoon. Then taking some rest in her room, she had freshened herself and after that she changed her clothes and went to her parents room.
Her mother was then told her to prepare herself quickly as she would have to go to ‘Nebedita Ashram’ for an inauguration ceremony. And after that they would meet with their ‘Family-Gurudeb’ Swami Soumyanandaji to get his advices and blessings.
As she told her daughter about that she became agreed immediately and said, “Yes Mamoni, we should go earlier to take his blessing for your grandson.”
With that Supriyadevi prepared herself and reminded her son, Bouma and husband about her program in which all of them expressed their deep sorrow about the forgetfulness of that matter and apologized in unison. So, after half an hour, all the family members of ‘Chowdhury Family’ even the Sinha couple ( Mala Sinha & Her husband Moloy Sinha ) went out for ‘Nibedita Ashram’.
They reached at 7:00 pm at the beautiful Ashram and attended the small function in which a new building for orphans was inaugurated by Supriyadevi. In the opening ceremony, Soumyanandaji gave a small speech about the purpose of their new program in which he specially mentioned Supriyadevi’s significant role in assisting those distressed children.
Anyway, after the ceremony, they wandered about the Ashram few minutes and chatted with several VVIP person who were also the devotees of that Ashram. At last they met with the head of the Ashram, Swami Soumyanandaji, a sixty something aged saint with long bearded gentle looking person.
In his room, he was at that time was fully absorbed in meditation ( divine contemplation ) wearing just a saffron Dhuti ( 4’X18′ cloth ), sitting in ‘Palmasam’ ( A particular posture in religious meditation ) on the floor keeping his eyes closed. All of them entered into the room silently one by one and expressed their great respect by saluting the slim structured great saint as they fall prostrate ( Pronaam ) in front of him.
Raising his right hand in assurance of safety style, still closing his eyes, he said calmly, “May God bless you Priya-Maa and your family….. how are you?”.
“We’re all very well….. and it’s your blessing, Baba,” Saying that she once again composed a ‘Pronaam’.
“But Maa, there’s a bad news for you,” the great saint suddenly uttered in which everyone became shocked.
“Please Baba, Save us…. you’re the only hope,” All of them cried in unison.
“Actually very soon your family is going to face a serious financial problem…. like loosing job by your son, not getting any roles in film by your husband and you both….. even you may loose your house.”
“Oh God! I can’t believe…. please Guruji, let us have your blessing so that we can overcome from that horrible situation,” Supriyadevi pleaded in folding hands…. almost in crying like state. Her eyes quickly filled in tears as the remaining members looked at him in stunning silence.
