My MIL was educated and retired bank professional, she understood the situation and started consoling her daughter. Then she asked if someone else is aware of all these things happening in our life. We denied jointly and said you are the 1st person to know all these except three of us. And we want to keep this secret with you only. She agreed and alerted us to be careful and not exhibiting anything in public. She asked Shilpa to invite Javed for lunch tomorrow and said she will cook the food for him. I thought in my mind like Shilpa’s mother mentally accepted Javed to be her real Son in Law. Shilpa excitedly took her phone and called Javed and invited him for lunch, Javed replied he is busy with elections and can’t manage to come for lunch but he agreed to come for a dinner. After some time, Shilpa went in Bedroom, called Javed again and informed everything that happened just now. Both of them sounded very happy as their worry of not being able to meet each other for next few months vanished.
Next day evening, when I returned from office, my MIL was cooking, Shilpa was getting ready as if it was her date with a lover. Shilpa asked me to clean and organize the house for a Javed, my MIL observed changes in my behavior, went to Shilpa and they talked something. Then she returned to kitchen and finished her cooking. Till then I had arranged and organized Living room and our bedroom. When I returned to living room, MIL asked me to clean the kitchen platform and wash the utensils. I couldn’t believe my ears, my MIL who was respecting me as a son in law is now asking me to clean the kitchen. She also went to get ready for the guest.
Around 9pm Javed arrived and Shilpa welcomed him, Shilpa introduced Javed and my MIL. My MIL was thanking Javed for everything he did for her daughter. After some talking, they decided to have dinner, Shilpa ordered me to serve dinner, MIL joined me to help serve dinner for all. We finished dinner, Javed and Shilpa went and sat on Sofa and were laughing together. I and MIL were cleaning the Dining table & kitchen. We also came and sat in living room. Shilpa said Javed wants to talk something with her and then went in bedroom with Javed and closed the door. We could hear their moans, MIL immediately went and knocked the door, Shilpa opened the door and both of them came outside. MIL strictly warned Shilpa and Javed to control till delivery. Shilpa reverted saying, Mom we were not making out, he was just kissing me, as he was very happy that you accepted him. Javed said thanks mom for understanding the situation and accepting me.
Fast Forward 18 months to Shock Day.
Shilpa delivered a healthy baby, we shared the news 1st with Javed and then with all out Family and friends. Javed Couldn’t come as they had election result on next day. Next day Javed called us and informed that he has won the election and will come to see the baby in couple of days. After 2 days Javed came to see the baby with Gold ring, Gold chain, 5 lacs cash and many other gifts. He told me to do FD in bank of this 5 lac for baby.
