Chapter 3: The Bet
Kamini rushed to the classroom, her heart pounding in her chest as she realized she was late for her first class by a whopping 59 minutes. She was followed by the wolf spirit and the old man’s spirit, both of them eager to see what would happen next.
Kamini leaped into the air, kicking the door open with her foot. But her leg landed on the face of a fat guy who was walking out of the class, causing him to fall to the ground.
The guy was a known bully, and he quickly got up and pushed Kamini against the wall. “You’re going to take responsibility for kicking my nose,” he growled.
Kamini handed him a bandaid, which only served to piss him off even more. He tried to grab her breast, but the teacher stepped in and stopped him. “You can challenge and defeat her if you want,” the teacher said.
The bully looked at Kamini, a smirk on his face. “I challenge you to a bet. If I win, you have to give me your body for an entire day. And if you win, I’ll give you all the credits the academy has given you.”
Kamini’s heart sank. She had just arrived at the academy, and she hadn’t been given any credits yet. She tried to explain this to the teacher and the bully, but they didn’t seem to care.
The class rep stood up, telling the bully that he got to choose anything he wanted from Kamini. The bully grinned, looking Kamini up and down. “I choose your body for an entire day,” he said.
Kamini was trembling, knowing that her super power wasn’t suitable for fighting. She sat down on the terrace beside the old man’s spirit and the wolf spirit, feeling depressed.
That’s when the old man’s spirit whispered something in her ear, causing her to blush. She wasn’t sure what he had said, but it seemed to give her a glimmer of hope.
The teacher explained that the match would be held after lunch, and Kamini spent the rest of the morning trying to come up with a plan. She knew she was at a disadvantage, but she was determined to find a way to win.
As the lunch bell rang, Kamini made her way to the cafeteria, her mind racing with thoughts. She knew she had to find a way to win, no matter what it took.
And she was determined to do whatever it took to keep her body from being used as a prize.
