Then Kalpana aunty went up the altar. All of us assembled down there. There was a statue of Maa Kali at the altar. Kalpana aunty started worshipping the diety. She showered flowers. She chanted mantras. Even the girls started chanting mantras after her. After doing aarathi to the diety,Kalpana aunty for about 10 minutes told us about Maa Kali. Since she said everything in Kannada language….I may not be able to translate it to perfection. But she gave a nice explanation on Maa Kali, Why is she naked, why has she bared her breasts and vulva….and shockingly while saying so Kalpana aunty unwrapped the cloth which she had put on and dropped it to be complete naked in front of us. Soon the girls prostrated before a naked Kalpana aunty and hailed “Maa Kalpana….Maa Kalpana”.
